כדי ליצור הקטלוג, הלקוח סיפק קבצי Excel עם תיאור מוצר, תמונות גדולות בפורמט הדפסה, קבציPDF ובנוסף היו כמה מאות קבצים קטנים יותר של Excel המתארים משפחות מוצר.
בכדי ליצור את מסד הנתונים של הקטלוג יצרנו תהליך של יבוא באופן אוטומטי את נתוני הלקוח,
התוצאה: קטלוג היררכי עם חיפוש טקסט מלא.

The catalog includes >8000 products, large and  small.  The products are divided into 20 categories and who knows how many sub and subsub categories

To create the catalog, the client supplied Excel files with product descriptions, large images in print format , PDFs. In addition there were several hundreds smaller Excel files describing product families

to crate the catalog database have we written the import routines to automatically parse the needed client data

A result, a hierarchical catalog with full text search and (almost) responsible design
